“ Great BBQ! The brisket sandwich is my favorite but I've not had anything that I do t like there. The potato salad is fantastic as well. Great spot for lunch. The service is usually quick as you get your food when you pay. The decor is spot on for that country vibe. If it's busy it can be a little loud. But that's not a big complaint. Overall highly recommend! ”

“ We first came by Rudy's a few weeks ago and we really enjoyed their BBQ, I especially am found of the Beef Brisket. My friend told me to try the Turkey, it was the best they'd ever tasted, so we stopped in for another great experience. I tried the Turkey with a side of Green Chili Stew and it was amazing. The turkey was moist and seasoned perfectly. The Green Chili Stew was a little spicy, but we'll within mild levels. The place is quite busy, but it's worth every minute for the tasty reward. ”

“ I normally BBQ myself, but on rare occasion, I drop into a restaurant. I am a native of central Texas and know good BBQ. Rudy's does a good job with the Texas theme. The place feels like a big old barn with picnic tables galore. The folks at the front welcomed us in and then we cued up in the line and picked up a cold beer in the watering trough. The delivery is interesting. You grab any cold items yourself out of the cooler, then order the hot item from the staff behind the counter. Everything is then wrapped in paper and placed in a bin. You then go and tear off a piece of butcher paper to eat off off. I ordered Brisket, Jalapeno, Cheddar Sausage and got Banana Pudding. They do it up right by throwing in Rainbow Bread, Onions & Pickles. Definitely a Texas thing... I will start with what I liked.The Jalapeno, Cheddar Sausage was stellar! I will buy more next time! And the Banana pudding is as good as it gets. The big disappointment for me was the brisket. I ordered the fatty point. The bark was beautiful and the brisket was moist. The issue was a strong creosote aftertaste. Unfortunately, as much as I love brisket, I couldn't finish it. My assumption is that it spent too long in the smoke. And in part, it could be do to the fact that we had dinner there, rather than picking it up earlier in the day. Still, Rudy's was a good experience with lots to offer. I will be back to giv'em another shot and load up on Banana pudding and Jalapeno, cheddar sausage when I do! ”

“ Parking lot easily available A lot of tables indoor, feels like you are on a picnic indoor. Service is ok. The only thing I see a flaw is that the same cashier taking your order aid making your tray. We got brisket sandwich and the cashier did not use gloves to grab the bread however he did use the parchament paper but I think using utensils like tongs would be better. Or have someone else preparing your tray wearing gloves and switching them often too. Price for the meat is good, the price for the sides is kind a pricey because the sides are small. Fulfilling but small. Great beer selection and other unique sodas and ciders. ”
